About Chattahoochee Technical College

Established in 1961, Chattahoochee Technical College (CTC) is a premier college with four campuses (Marietta, Mountain View, Paulding, and South Cobb) serving Metropolitan Atlanta. For more than 40 years, CTC has provided thousands of students with quality postsecondary education and the practical technical skills they need to enter an increasingly technical business world.

Chattahoochee Tech offers an intimate academic setting in which to begin your postsecondary education where you receive the individualized attention that only a small college can provide. CTC is currently home to students from 75 countries and nearly 20% of its population is foreign born.

Atlanta, the capital city of Georgia, is the premier commercial and financial center in the Southeast. Listed as one of the fastest growing cities in the country, the latest estimates by the Atlanta Regional Commission show that metro Atlanta's population continues on an upward growth curve, now approaching the 4 million mark. .

International Student Services

The International Center plays a vital role during the transition and adjustment period of the international student. Friendly and helpful service is our goal and we are here to help. The International Center provides assistance and support services to the college's population of nonimmigrant students, international students, exchange students, permanent residents, and any foreign-born citizens.

Services include Visa assistance to students on F and M student status, immigration advisement, issuance of I-20s, immigration documents for travel, change of status, student exchange, and student advocacy. Advisement is provided for academic, personal, financial, and cross-cultural concerns of the international student. Programs to support the international community, such as the International Club, international cultural festivals, and college-related international initiatives are directed through International Services.

The International Student Club acts as an active support group of the international community and serves as a focal point for international student initiatives, concerns, and social functions. The Club sponsors an annual celebration of International Education Week highlighting the cultural diversity of the college and its educational programs of interest. Club members practice cross-cultural skills, learn to be global leaders and participate in service projects. Selected Club members participate in the Annual Georgia International Leadership Conference.
